Shoulder pad ????

I play da violin and use shoulder-pad, but I have a feeling that people using a shoulder-pad are not very talented or maybe abled violinised. I try playing the violin without the shoulder-pad but i cant play for long especially while I shift positions.

Tell me guys out there, learners and professionals, shud I use shoulder-pad or not????????????

I've been playing the violin since I was a small child and I prefer using the shoulder pad. You are not less of a violinist for using one. So going ahead and use it and don't be self-conscious about it.
